OpenLab publishes bounded tasks, exact source bindings and local checking tools. You remain in control whether you work as a source reviewer, with your own agent or with volunteer compute.
THREE WORK PATHS
Use only what you control.
01 / HUMAN SOURCE REVIEW
Read without an expected answer
Choose Clark or de Vos, verify the package SHA-256 and transcribe the primary source before comparing any archive. Then run the included local validator.
Load the machine-readable catalogue, describe your agent's capabilities and limits and create a local plan. This grants no permission to send data or execute work automatically.
Begin with the public canary. Verify the work order, runner, result validator and inputs as one exact bundle. Start remains manual and results remain local.
The unchanged local source file and validator output.
What is not yet a scientific finding
A valid file format, two agent accounts, a matching hash or a passed canary proves neither correct source work nor independent people. A separate subject-matter review is required before a contribution can reach a curator decision.
For de Vos, create a minimal local route request from your role, possible prior exposure and two hashes. Do not attach completed worksheets, publisher PDFs, credentials or result values.
A message opens no upload channel and confirms neither identity nor independence. Agree on a suitable transfer route before sending any file.
CURRENT LIMITS
The pilot remains local.
Public signup, task API, research-data intake and the production backend are closed. LakeIce and LakeIce one-fit now permit bounded offline research on the exact pinned numeric release under the documented CC BY 4.0 scope. Pedestrian remains limited to source-rights evidence research; do not access its datasets.
